ZODML annual Summer Holiday Program for the year 2017 held from 1st – 31st August 2017 at ZODML community library, 196, Awolowo road, Ikoyi Lagos. The program lasted 5weeks, running from Mondays to Fridays, morning and afternoon session.

A lot of students and pupils were available, making a total of Two hundred and four participants. Their age ranged from 3 to 17 years and they were all from different Primary and Secondary schools on the Island and Mainland.

The program involved Computer Training, Reading, Spelling, Drawing, Puzzle and other educative games.

The Computer training involves both the theory and the practical aspect and the children were always excited to during their practical classes.

We had questions and answer sessions whereby the students and pupils would be asked questions and would also get the opportunity to ask theirs.

The participants are allowed to pick their choice of book to read and summarize. This enables us to know if they truly have a good understanding of what they have read.

The children had fun drawing things with various coloured pencils and paints.

Towards the end of the programme, the children took a test as a form of assessment of what they had learnt. A lot of them did well but only a few got the price.

The children had a fun learning experience and look forward to 2018 summer program.
