“Nowadays, everybody assumes, when they wake up in the morning, if they have a question, it will get answered. Because they have the internet. No matter what the question is, someone will answer their question”.

On 24th November, 2015, Zaccheus Onumba Dibiaezue Memorial Libraries (ZODML) launched a Free Internet Access Centre at Henry Carr Public Library in Agege, Lagos State to provide answers to questions through the internet.

It is the first in a plan to establish a free internet access centre in every Lagos State Public Library.

The donation is comprised of 4-laptops, a free internet of unlimited access at the cost of 35,000 Naira monthly to be paid by ZODML, Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), Table and Chairs and to support literacy programmes, 2-Book Shelves for adult and children.

ZODML, in establishing libraries and internet centres is providing the means and tools for self-education in line with their “vision of a Nigeria in which everyone has the ability to educate themselves”.
